Site Remediation and the New Administration workshop, Chaired by Dwight Bedsole, Director, DuPont Corporate Remediation Group
Speakers include:
- Dwight Bedsole on "Proactive Management of Toxic Tort Litigation"
- Dennis Macauley, Dow’s Director of Environmental Remediation, will present the results of a survey on Environmental Accrual Practices and lead a discussion on "Accrual Process of the Future"
- Joe Gabriel of Kodak talking on "Identifying Liabilities at the Site Level"
- Roger Hathaway of the RETEC Group will speak on "Probabilistic Cost Estimation"
1pm-5pm:
Power Generation and Emerging Issues workshop, Chaired by Gary R. Fuhrman, AHC Group Senior Associate.
Speakers include:
- Skiles Boyd, DTE’s Director, Environmental Management & Resources will speak on "DTE’s Environmental and Business Strategy: Shaping Near Term Power Markets". Introduction by Dennis Minano, VP, Environment and Energy and Chief Environmental Officer of GM, retired.
- Dennis Baca, Manager, Environmental Management Policy of the US Postal Service will discuss anthrax clean-up and emerging issues. Introduction by Glenn Hammer, Vice President, EH&S and Engineering at Ashland.
Friday, January 24
8am-12noon:
Governance Issues After Enron workshop, Chaired by Steve Percy, Past CEO and Chairman of BP North America and AHC Group Senior Associate
Speakers include:
- Jean LaVecchia, Vice President of Human Resources, EHS and Ethics at Northeast Utilities with a speech entitled "From the Cover of Time Magazine: The Value of EHS Governance".
- Two other speakers to be announced.
1pm-5pm:
Near-Term Business Value Thru Corporate Responsibility, Chaired by Dave Sherman and Chris Laszlo, Founders of Sustainable Value Partners, in joint venture with the AHC Group, Inc.
Speakers include:
- Phil Hillman, Corporate Director of Environmental Affairs at Polaroid speaking on "Polaroid’s Environmental and Business Strategy: Building Value with Operating Groups".
- Two other speakers to be announced including leaders from our 11-year benchmarking network of 145 executives.
