Marsh

Ms. Sandidge is a recognized international expert in environmental risk management and insurance with over 28 years in the risk management and insurance industry. She is a Managing Director and is the Corporate Risks and Liabilities Practice Leader for Marsh's Environmental Practice, the world's #1 risk specialist. Her practice focuses on innovative insurance and financial solutions for corporate clients dealing with environmental liabilities. She is responsible for Marsh's strategy, design, implementation, and coordination of financial risk solutions, particularly finite risk insurance programs and alternative risk solutions in the environmental area, both in the U.S. and internationally.

Ms. Sandidge is a leading national expert in risk financing of environmental liabilities and has extensive experience in risk profiling, risk analysis, environmental risk quantification, and the redevelopment of environmentally challenged properties. She has negotiated environmental insurance programs, specifically "cost cap" insurance policies, for over 420 sites for numerous major domestic and international firms and various public sector clients. She has been responsible for setting the standards for innovative insurance and risk management solutions to some of the nation's most challenging problems that companies and public entities face associated with financing of environmental liabilities.

Ms. Sandidge assists clients in the U.S. and internationally with environmental liability issues, designing and building environmental insurance programs, and providing expertise on environmental insurance products and the marketplace. This also involves the analysis of environmental risk exposures, quantification of those exposures, evaluation of existing or proposed insurance programs to determine adequacy, and ongoing monitoring of market and economic conditions.

To Ms. Sandidge has been attributed the creation of the insurance marketplace for "cost cap" insurance policies due to her pioneering work in the 1980s and 1990s on risk analysis and risk financing of environmental liabilities (both remediation and toxic tort). Based on her experience and reputation, she has been retained often by legal counsel to advise on environmental insurance matters and has served as an expert witness.

Since the 1980s, she has been a risk advisor and expert on environmental insurance techniques and issues to numerous state governments and the USEPA with respect to Superfund sites as well as Brownfields. She is on the faculty of the USEPA's Environmental Risk Management Program, which was rolled out to all USEPA Regions during the past few years. Her clients also include other international government agencies

Ms. Sandidge has been responsible for the development of proprietary risk quantification and risk financing techniques and has assisted numerous clients in assessing potential environmental remediation costs, including likely exposures for Natural Resource Damages, toxic tort, and other third-party issues and designing insurance programs around these risks.
